Breeding Cane Corso

Our breeding project is clear: the model to be maintained and to be reached through farsighted plans of reproduction, it exclusively follows the standard. Our dogs only inbreed after having checked their state of health, in rational way, joining the best lines of blood and considering their origins, their character and structure. The reproducers and the females are checked to prevent the transmission of genetic illnesses, like dysplasia of the haunch, elbow and cardiovascular problems.
The character is a peculiarity of this race, and it has to answer to particular attitudes which are typical of the Cane Corso dog and it is balanced in every dog of ours. The structure of the Cane Corso dogs (used in reproduction) it is never hyper-typical, but they exclusively are used subjects in types.
Every single dog of ours, it comes down from the best bloodlines as those of Plud and Retico, two of the greatest race keepers and founders of the Cane Corso dog.

The Cane Corso dogs' pups from the Ogliastro Kennel are of an excellent quality, in fact, they are both selected in morphology and character (punishment substitution).
Love and affection are shown to the pups since the conception, giving to their mother the best care: the feed with a very high protein content, fresh meat, vitaminic integrators, calcium and phosphorus for the bones and a consistent and quiet place so that it doesn't stress female by heavy watch.
It's just because of these attentive cares devoted to the mother, that pups born very strong with great vitality and a good bone structure.

The pups start to be weaned since the third week, even if their mother nurses them until the 45th day of life, then they start the cycle of vaccinations and the elimination of worms.
During this period they live in a very close contact with our family, till then they will have received a strong imprinting both from their mother and us, making them socialize both with us, and with friends and relatives (to strengthen the bond man-dog) with all that surrounds them (cars noises, motorcycles etc..) to turn on their curiosity and their attention with other dogs to educate them to socialize.

Our pups obviously are equipped of pedigree, before being submitted to the new owner. Besides expressing the socialization with man, the single pup will give proof to have a strong predatory instinct through the hold and the bite and the indifference to the shoot, essential dowries for a future like true guardians and defenders of the ownership and the person.
Done this, the pups are at least seventy days old, so they are ready to be welcomed by the new owner that will bring at home a Mr. Pup of Cane Corso dog with the capital letters, healthy, beautiful, strong and above all Corso.
